Categories of Support

You can support Mead Botanical Garden in the following areas:

Become a Friend of Mead Garden and donate to our General Fund. Your unrestricted donation will be used as needed to supportthe ongoing activities in Mead Garden including but not limited to program development.
The Grove at Mead Botanical Garden. Donations made to The Grove fund will go toward construction completion and future maintenance of the outdoor performance pavilion.
Legacy and Butterfly Gardens Contributions would fund the expansion and maintenance of the Legacy and Butterfly Gardens. This includes the purchase and installment of plant material as well as the creation and placement of educational signage. The Legacy Garden is reflective of collections favored by TLMead and other renowned Central Florida horticulturalists.
Restoration. Donations to our Restoration fund will help support ongoing efforts to revitalize and restore Mead Garden’s natural areas including wetlands and Lake Lillian, as well as establish and maintain native plant communities throughout the park.
Youth Programming. Help us develop and expand our programming for children, including the Young Naturalist Summer Camp. (If you would like to make a donation for Summer Camp scholarships, please contact us via email at info@meadgarden.org.)
Duck Derby. (If you are interested in becoming a Duck Derby sponsor, please contact us via email at info@meadgarden.org. Sponsorships may be monetary or in-kind.)
Amenities. Contributions to our Amenities fund will allow us to add benches, picnic tables and other structural amenities throughout the park.
