Organic Gardening Series: Planning and Planting

Florida has a very unique planting and growing season. Our fall and spring are our best growing seasons, yet we can still grow 365 days of the year. In this class we will discuss seasonal planting in Florida, succession planting, perennial gardening, and bio-intensive gardening to maximize space and minimize watering. There will be a hands-on demonstration of planting container gardens for your backyard or balcony. You don’t want to miss this class.

A Great Day for Ducks!

Thanks to you and the other great Sponsors, "The Great Duck Derby" was a great day for ducks! The rain held off until 12:30, giving us enough time for the Sponsor Duck Race and one little duck race. Then one hour later, those hardy souls who stayed in the spirit of 'duckness,' raced one more little race. We had a great day! Click here to see a photo gallery of the day!
