Forest Bathing with Julie
January 8, 2023 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
This is NOT a naked bath experience. 😂 We will be fully clothed.
Forest Bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of ‘shinrin yoku’. Shinrin means forest and yoku means bath. It’s a process where we experience the forest (nature) through our sense. It’s also scientifically been proven that the trees release a chemical called phytoncide. It’s used to protect them from harmful bugs and germs, and helps us do the same in our bodies.
Relax. Let. Go. Release. Give Nature…and Receive.
Time in Nature is essential to ground and embody the goodness Life has to offer. It is uplifts the mood, boosts the immune system, and relieves stress.
🌳We’ll sit with nature and listen.
🌳We’ll meditation, journal and give into Nature’s invitation.
🌳 We’ll Forest Bath. Exchange breaths with the trees, and receive their healing. (Watch the video if you have never been forest bathing)
You’ll be guided through this experience by Julie, plant-based nutritionist, herbalist and shamanic practitioner. She recently moved from California where she regularly spent time with plants and in the forest.
We’ll also have tea together and an invitation to share.
